Don Omar's landmark second album, King of Kings, was released on May 23, 2006 and dominated the reggaeton genre, spending 11 weeks atop the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart and becoming his best-selling album. King of Kings made history by debuting at #10 on the Billboard 200. It was certified gold by the RIAA and earned major accolades, winning Reggaeton Album of the Year at the 2007 Latin Billboard Music Awards and receiving a nomination for Best Urban Music Album at the 2006 Latin Grammy Awards.
